Life of a Gym Junkie

So, last week I mentioned that I was wanting to make a change. No more excuses, it was time to change for the better.

SO………. On Saturday I met up with a lovely couple who are selling their business. Its just a small lawn mowing company that they have basically built from the ground up. The price includes 80 odd clients, Trailer, 2 mowers, ride on mower, edger, weedeater, hedger, sprayer and all the exttra stuff like petrol cans, bags etc etc.

We had a great chat and seemed to really hit it off, we come from the same kinda backgrounds and are similar in age with like minded interests. Seems like its a great chance for me to venture into small business ownership so I can learn the ropes, without having a huge loan hanging over my head. I left their house thinking thats exactly what I want to do. I got some financial details off them and told them I was really interested and that I was gonna go see the bank on Monday.

So today I contacted the bank early to try get an appointment today. I rang 3 times during the morning and everytime I got voicemail. I left my cell number each time and figured they would call upon getting my message. I went to the gym and returned home about 12.30pm………. still no call. I rang again………… voicemail……………….

About 1.30pm I finally get a call back, my bank consultant was snowed under with work but said to bring in the financials leave them for her and she would go thru them as soon as possible. 15mins later Im at the bank dropping off the paperwork.

So know my new little venture is in the hands of the bank. I have to say I am feeling really good about taking the 1st couple of little steps. Im praying that I get good news. Time will tell………………
